Minsk firm charged 20,000 rubles for a call to Egypt. But none of the employees called there
The director of a capital firm contacted the police. He reported that the mobile operator had disconnected its services for employees, and the balance showed a debt of over 20,000 rubles.
It turned out that unauthorized access to the Minsk company's server was carried out from an IP address in another country, reports the "Minsk Police" Telegram channel.
Hackers exploited weak security and made a series of international calls from the organization's internal number, including to Egypt and other distant foreign countries.
A criminal case has been initiated for unauthorized access to computer information.
