Dormitory Fire Extinguished in Pastavy

A report about a fire in a dormitory on Gaidara Street in Pastavy was received by rescuers from eyewitnesses at 12:04 PM. Upon arrival at the scene, smoke was observed coming from the windows of the second and third floors, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations press service .

12 people, including four children, were rescued by Ministry of Emergency Situations employees from the 2nd and 3rd floors. One person was hospitalized after examination by an ambulance crew.

The cause and circumstances of the incident are being investigated. 4 units of equipment worked at the fire scene.
