Foxes tried to steal from a white-tailed eagle on the Lithuanian-Belarusian border VIDEO
An unusual episode from nature's life was shared by Lithuanian border guards.

On the Lithuanian side of the border, in the Šalčininkai district, a white-tailed eagle with its prey attracted the attention of two foxes. The prey, apparently, looked very attractive, but the ginger predators acted cautiously and did not dare to engage in direct conflict with the larger and stronger bird.

One of the foxes behaved particularly actively: it approached and retreated, as if checking if the eagle was ready to share its food. The bird, however, confidently defended its prey and left no doubt as to whom it belonged.


As a result, the foxes left the scene, and the eagle calmly continued its meal.
