The leader of the band «Drazdy», Vitaly Karpanov, posted an announcement on his Threads account about a planned concert tour to European countries.

«Not in Minsk yet… Concert tour of Europe,» Karpanov wrote.
As seen from the attached video, the band plans to hold a concert in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, on May 5, in Montenegro's Podgorica and Budva on May 7 and 9, and to conclude the tour in Prague on May 12.
Last year was not easy for Karpanov and his band. «Drazdy», known for their Belarusian-language hits and rhetoric loyal to the authorities, suddenly faced problems. Despite their emphasized support for the official course and even a peculiar «repentance» for 2020 (when Karpanov compared protesters to those who «put a knife to the driver's throat,» and himself and others who were scared — to those who «farted out of fear»), the band came under pressure.
The reason was complaints from pro-Russian activists, among them Olga Bondarava, who was annoyed by the Belarusian language in the musicians' work. In spring, Karpanov even announced the cessation of the band's activities, as they were effectively banned from performing in major cities.
Later, the situation slightly improved: after media resonance, officials allegedly gave the green light for concerts in regional centers. However, the capital remained closed for «Drazdy» — they were denied permission to hold a concert in Minsk Sports Palace.
