Police reported that a group of anarchists, including its leader, was detained by GUBOP (Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption) with the forceful support of special forces units "Rys" and "Tornado".

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs notes in its statement that four Minsk residents aged 20 to 28 at the architectural and sculptural complex "Minsk - Hero City" "mocked the symbols of Victory and the victims of the Great Patriotic War".



They also allegedly used obscene language towards veterans, spat on the monument, recorded videos, and left negative comments, "denying the genocide of the Belarusian people and the exploits of heroes".
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs notes that those detained are members of the "Antifa" group, and there is also a supporter of "military jihad".
Cold weapons, clothing and items with anarchist and Nazi symbols, and a flare gun were found and confiscated at their homes.
A criminal case has been initiated for malicious hooliganism.
