Iranian drone attacked British airbase in Cyprus

According to British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, the drone hit the runway: «All necessary precautions are being taken around the base,» she said on Sky News.

Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides announced that a «Shahed» drone hit military facilities at the British Akrotiri base, causing «minor material damage».

He added that Cyprus «has no intention of participating in any military operations».
