Updated waiting area at the border in Brest to open in April PHOTOS
The updated waiting area on the Belarusian-Polish border in front of the Brest checkpoint ("Warsaw Bridge") is planned to open already in April. Construction work began in May 2025, and now the facility is almost ready - over 90% complete, writes BelTA.

The new area will be much more modern and convenient. It will be designed for approximately 235 passenger cars and 50 buses. Compared to the previous one, it is significantly expanded and better equipped.

For travelers, the following are provided:
- checkpoints and electronic display boards;
- charging stations for cars;
- sanitary block with showers;
- catering facilities;
- recreation areas;
- Wi-Fi access.

As Sergey Yakuta, head of Brest Customs, noted, electronic registration will continue to operate - people will be able to wait for their turn in comfortable conditions until they are called to cross the border.
