«Unfortunately, the regime is again creating difficulties. Those people who are now at the Lithuanian-Belarusian border — they are without documents, without passports,» said Kuchynski.
He also expressed gratitude to the Lithuanian authorities and partners who are helping to receive our people and process their documents. They will now receive certificates that will allow them to stay in Lithuania for some time, and then everything will proceed along the path already established during previous deportations.
Kuchynski also thanked US President Donald Trump, his special representative John Kohle, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Smith for the release of the political prisoners.
