Belsat journalists have already managed to speak with their journalist Katsiaryna Andreyeva, who was released on March 19 along with 249 other political prisoners, immediately deported to Lithuania.

"Thank you for meeting me. I am also very happy to be free, very happy. Thank you to everyone who made efforts for this. We were met very warmly. I will adapt gradually. Well, see you soon," Katsiaryna Andreyeva said by phone.
Katsiaryna Andreyeva (Bakhvalava) was born in 1993. After school, she enrolled in MSLU, but in her third year, she left to volunteer in Spain, where she spent two years. Upon returning home, she decided to continue the family dynasty and pursue journalism. Her grandfather is the famous journalist Siarhei Vahanau. She worked for Radio Svaboda and Belsat.
Katsiaryna was arrested in November 2020. She did not return home from the Square of Changes, from where she was broadcasting live for Belsat. Andreyeva and camerawoman Darya Chultsova were allowed into an apartment balcony by residents of the building, but security forces stormed the apartment. The women were charged with a criminal case and sentenced to 2 years in prison for "participating" in the protests.
However, when Darya Chultsova was released after serving her term, a new criminal case was opened against Katsiaryna Andreyeva — for "treason to the state." In total, the journalist received 8 years and 3 months in prison.
