"Bysol" launched an emergency fundraiser for released political prisoners

A large group of Belarusian political prisoners is being released once again, and after years in prison, these people will have to start life in a foreign country almost from scratch. Therefore, the "Bysol" solidarity fund traditionally launches an emergency fundraiser to help all political prisoners released on March 19.

The goal of the fundraiser is to pay a minimum of €1000 to each released person as part of the program to support political prisoners and those released. This money will help them survive the first weeks after release: find temporary housing, buy clothes and medicine, and restore documents. The fundraiser will be active until March 31, 2026, after which payments will begin.

If more funds are collected, it will be possible to support people even more — to cover additional expenses, treatment, and document restoration. All money collected above the specified amount will be divided equally among the released individuals.

Of course, this assistance will not solve all problems. But it will provide the most important thing — the opportunity to breathe and take the first steps towards a new life after prison.

Read more about how the emergency fundraiser will work and how aid will be disbursed.

To receive assistance from the emergency fundraiser, you must contact BYSOL directly by August 31, 2026, inclusive. Contact in Telegram: @bysol_pzk

    1) пагугліце "EU support for people of Belarus reaches €200 million".

Today's funding of 30 million euros will strengthen support for victims of repression, independent journalists, and initiatives pursuing accountability for the crimes committed by Lukashenka's regime.

    3) support for victims of repression, independent journalists, and initiatives pursuing accountability for the crimes vs "адкласці на экстранныя патрэбы" - нібы ёсць розніца, не?

Вылучаюцца грошы не непасрэдна ў рукі victims of repression, а на дейнасць, якая "support for victims of repression".
