The Investigative Committee revealed the details.

On the evening of December 25, an 18-year-old resident of Luchniki was on her way to visit a friend in the village of Branavichy. On Central Street, an Opel car with an unknown man at the wheel blocked her path.
The driver offered the girl to get into the car. When she refused, he got out of the car, forcibly seated her in the front seat, locked the doors, and held her despite her resistance and attempts to escape.
Then, with her, he drove around Slutsk and the Slutsk district. The girl managed to call an acquaintance, and then contact the police and report her approximate location. When the driver realized he was being pursued, he drove to an abandoned building. Upon seeing the police car, the girl was able to open the door and get out of the car. The driver tried to flee but was apprehended.
He turned out to be a 32-year-old resident of the village of Branavichy. At the time of the crime, he was under the influence of drugs. He had previously been brought to criminal responsibility for theft and driving under the influence.
A criminal case has been initiated against the man on the fact of kidnapping. The case materials have been forwarded to the prosecutor's office for referral to the court.
