Trump met Messi and the entire Inter Miami team

Speaking about Messi, the US President stated that Pelé was "very good, but Leo is perhaps even better".

On Thursday, Donald Trump met with the winners of the top American football league (MLS) "Inter Miami" at the White House. Among the guests were Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, and Rodrigo De Paul.

Speaking about Messi, Trump stated that Pelé was "very good, but Leo is perhaps even better". He also noted that when great players come to the USA, they usually no longer win, but Messi "coped with the pressure — came and won".

At the same time, Trump spoke not only about football. Of course, he did not miss the opportunity to comment on the war with Iran:

"We are destroying more and more Iranian missiles and drones. Their launchpad comes under fire within four minutes after they launch a missile. They just don't understand what's happening, but we have the most powerful army in the world. Their fleet of 24 ships was destroyed in three days. That's a lot of ships."
