Israel Katz also warned that new unexpected steps and an intensification of military actions against Iran and related groups should be expected in the near future.
On the same day, Israel announced the death of Iran's intelligence minister, who was allegedly killed in an airstrike in Tehran. He was called one of the key representatives of the country's security forces.
According to earlier reports, dozens of high-ranking Iranian officials have already died since the start of the conflict. Among them are influential political and military figures, including the long-serving state leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
