Britney Spears Arrested for DUI

American singer Britney Spears was arrested in California on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, Page Six reports , citing law enforcement agencies.

Reportedly, Spears was stopped in Ventura County in the evening. The official arrest was processed overnight, and the singer was released in the morning. A court hearing is tentatively scheduled for May 4.

A representative for the artist called the incident unfortunate and stated that she is ready to comply with all legal requirements.

Earlier in 2025, Spears was already involved in a scandal due to dangerous driving: witnesses claimed that she could create hazardous situations on the road, although the singer herself denied it.

It is also noted that in past years, she has already had problems related to driving, including fines and controversial incidents.
