According to information from the Republican Union of Tourist Organizations, FlyDubai has not organized special evacuation flights to Belarus. The transport is difficult, and the issue of return is being resolved through tourist companies. The airline does not provide transfer to Dubai airport or from Russia to Belarus.
It is reported that the actual seats on tickets do not always correspond to the final flights — boarding is arranged for the nearest available departure, and overcrowded flights are possible. According to tourist companies' calculations, about 10% of planned passengers departed on the evening of March 5. A more active return was expected on March 6, with people trying to register for evening flights from early morning.
Tourist organizations note that they will monitor the situation and expect that Belarusian citizens will be able to return home in the coming days.
Earlier, the Belavia airline organized evacuation flights from Dubai to Minsk. It was also reported that on March 1, Dubai International Airport sustained damage as a result of an attack, which affected air traffic operations.
