Ivan Marozau, one of the founders of Belarusian-language LiveJournal, released — this was his second political term

It became known that blogger Ivan Marozau has been released. He fully served his second term on political charges.
Marozau was first arrested in January 2023. He received a year and a half of imprisonment for participating in protests. He was released from the colony in Shklou in April 2024.
In June 2025, Marozau was arrested again. He was accused of insulting Aliaksandr Lukashenka.
Human rights activists assumed that the blogger was sentenced to 2.5 years of imprisonment, but it is possible that the court partially offset the time he had already served.
Either way, Marozau was released from the "recidivist" colony in Orsha a few days ago.
Ivan Marozau is 43 years old. In the 2000s, he ran a blog on Livejournal under the nickname hondurazian. A lawyer by education, Marozau worked in the IT sector. He was also among the organizers of the "Skhvatka" quest game.
