Aryna lost the first set 3:6, won the second with the same score — 6:3, in the third she led 5:4, but lost her serve, then the match (6:6) went into a tie-break, which the Belarusian won 7:5.
Aryna remains the world's No. 1 player, a status she has held for a year and five months.
The next tournament with the Belarusian's participation will be held in Miami.
