In Moscow, phone scammers forced a 20-year-old footballer to rob an entrepreneur. He stabbed the woman
A brutal murder of 48-year-old Kateryna, the founder of a business teaching neural networks, occurred in Moscow. 20-year-old Daniil Syakach, a footballer from Kislovodsk who fell under the complete influence of phone scammers, has been detained on suspicion of the crime.
The crime was prepared by fraudsters as a multi-stage operation.
First, they targeted Kateryna's 16-year-old daughter: they introduced themselves as police and convinced her to open the door to an "employee" for a search. This "employee" was 20-year-old Daniil, whom the scammers also instilled with the belief that he was participating in a special assignment, "Baza" writes.
Daniil came to the apartment with a whole arsenal: an angle grinder, a crowbar, a sledgehammer, and a knife.
While he was trying to open the safe, the scammers ordered the girl to go outside to stop her mother and prevent her from returning home. The daughter met her and told her everything. The woman rushed into the apartment.
A fight started there; the young man demanded the safe code, and then stabbed the woman with a knife.
After the murder, the guy opened the safe with an angle grinder, took about 2 thousand dollars and collectible coins from the time of Catherine II. According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, he threw the stolen goods out the window at the instruction of his handlers. Only the next day did the scammers allow him to leave the apartment and release the victim's daughter.
The guy was detained. He was charged with murder.
