Trump asked to postpone China visit by a month

Because the war with Iran is not over.

The US President announced that he asked China to postpone his visit to Beijing and the summit meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, scheduled for early April, by a month due to the war in the Middle East.

"We're in negotiations with China," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. "Because of the war, I want to be here, I feel I should be here. So we've asked for the meeting to be moved by about a month."

Answering journalists' questions, the American leader also said that the war is unlikely to end this week.

"I don't think so [that this week], but it will be soon. It won't take long," he added.
