Russian Z-blogger Veles with 50 thousand subscribers died at the front
Mikalai Sharapau wrote a book about the war in Ukraine — "SVOimi glazami".
Z-blogger Mikalai Sharapau, author of the channel "VELES quietly writes", died in the war against Ukraine. "Veles" was Sharapau's call sign.
He died of wounds on April 4, his channel associates reported.
Sharapau was the author of the book about the war in Ukraine "SVOimi glazami". In 2024, with this book, he became a laureate of the Russian Arsenyev Literary Prize.
In his Telegram channel (50 thousand subscribers), he talked about the daily life of Russian soldiers in the Pokrovsk direction and collected money. Sharapau held the rank of junior lieutenant.
The blogger hailed from Siberia. Since 2022, he participated in the full-scale war, commanded a reconnaissance group, and was a UAV operator.
