The vessels belonged to Iran's shadow fleet.

Forces of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) destroyed five Iranian crude oil tankers, the American military department announced.
In the Gulf of Oman, tankers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) M/T Kaviz, M/T Charminar, M/T Horizon 1, and M/T Riesco were destroyed, as well as M/T Derya near Kharg Island.
The command added that these vessels belonged to Iran's "shadow fleet".
