Frost and strong wind predicted for Friday

Forecasters warn that a sharp cold spell and frost are expected in Belarus on April 24.

At night, the temperature in most regions will drop to 0…—3 °C, and in the southwest it will be slightly warmer — from +1 to +5 °C. During the day, the air will only warm up to +8…+14 °C.

Strong gusty winds are also predicted, with speeds reaching up to 20 m/s in some places. No precipitation is expected on Friday, but rain is predicted for the weekend, and even wet snow on Sunday.

Forecasters note that windy weather may persist in the coming days, so they recommend considering the conditions when planning trips and being cautious on open sections of roads.
