Russia and Ukraine conducted another prisoner exchange on April 24, following the '193 for 193' formula. This was initially reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, and later confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The exchange took place with the mediation of the USA and the United Arab Emirates.

The Ukrainian side reported that representatives of various security structures returned home: the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Border Service, the Police, and the Transport Special Service. Among those released are wounded individuals, as well as those against whom criminal cases were initiated in Russia.
According to the Russian side, their servicemen are in Belarus after their release, from where they will later be transported to Russia for treatment and rehabilitation.
This is not the first exchange recently. The previous one took place on April 11, on Easter — then the sides exchanged 175 prisoners of war and also returned seven civilians each. Even earlier, in March, several large exchanges took place, including 200 and 300 people each. In early February, the sides exchanged 157 prisoners of war.
