Two people were killed and 14 others were injured as a result of Russian strikes on residential buildings in Odesa, the Ukrainian Emergency Situations Service reported.

The deceased were two friends, both 75 years old, who lived in a two-story house hit by a drone. The drone also destroyed a three-story residential building, where six people were injured.

Oleh Kiper, head of the regional military administration, previously reported that apartments on the two upper floors of the three-story building were destroyed. A 72-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds. Windows were blown out in other buildings, and cars were damaged.
