New bike path: soon it will be possible to reach Minsk Sea without stops
Fans of this type of transport will have a comfortable and almost seamless route to a popular recreational area.

Beach #5
Good news for cyclists and users of personal mobility devices: it seems that very soon the main Minsk bike path will be connected to a new bike path leading to the Minsk Sea. In this case, fans of such transport will have a comfortable and almost seamless route to a popular recreational area, writes Onliner.by.

New path around Drozdy reservoir, March 2026
In fact, it was possible to reach Zaslavsky reservoir by bicycle even earlier. But the main bike path only led to the turning circle near the 'Lebyazhy' water park. Further, one had to take a path to reach beach #5 'Drozdy', and then along the shore on a dirt road — to beach #8 'Drozdy'. And from there, take the sidewalks towards the Minsk Sea. However, this spring the entire route will be passable on a new bike path with a tiled surface.
Another improved route has appeared, laid along Parkovaya Street and Pobediteley Avenue, which also connects beaches #8 and #5 of the Drozdy reservoir. Most of the work was completed last year. But even in March and April of this year, short unfinished sections remained, and there was only a path between the old and new bike paths.

However, it seems that construction is nearing completion.
Indeed, late last week an eyewitness reported that excavation work had already begun near the turning circle next to the 'Lebyazhy' water park. Most likely, a connection between the two bike paths will appear in the near future, and there will be no undeveloped sections left on the route. This means that the Minsk Sea will be reachable in one go.
— The tiles on the circular section (referring to the new bike path) have already been laid. As for the junction with the main bike path, it currently looks like this. The descents will be smooth, — an eyewitness from the construction site reports.
Judging by the photos (it's enough to compare with those taken less than a week ago), work is progressing actively, and there's not much left until the 'seamless' transition from the main capital bike route to the new bike path.
