The Ministry of Education announced when and how graduation ceremonies will be held in schools
Regarding the holding of graduation ceremonies, the Ministry of Education has created methodological guidelines and sent them to schools.

Graduation ceremonies in schools will be held on June 12. This was announced by Viktor Dovnar, head of the main department for ideological, educational work and youth policy of the Ministry of Education, writes sb.by.
Methodological recommendations have been prepared for the celebration, Dovnar said. They outline approaches to organizing graduation ceremonies — from script solutions to all necessary organizational issues.
— Schools will traditionally be the main venue for graduation ceremonies. At the same time, if the institution's capabilities are limited, for example, due to a large number of graduates or specific building features, the event can be moved to socio-cultural institutions. This includes theaters, cinemas, culture centers, and creativity centers. Such a decision is made in agreement with local executive bodies, — Viktor Dovnar clarified.
The Ministry of Education emphasizes that the graduation ceremony remains first and foremost a celebration for children. Its program includes a ceremonial part and a traditional entertainment block — a disco, contests, and other activities.
Also, within the framework of the celebration, a sunrise meeting can be held — as a symbol of graduates entering adult life.
— The trend of holding unified graduation ceremonies within a district or city also continues. Last year, such a format was first tested in the Zavodski district of Minsk, and this year, city-wide events are planned for the capital's districts. Large-scale city graduations are also held in the regions, — Dovnar said.
In 2026, 58,884 eleventh-graders will graduate from schools.
