Belarusian-speaking rapper Lightowy released his first album

Rapper Lightowy (also known as Aliaksei Hryzunt) presented his first music album "A Look Inside," which he had been working on for two years. All 11 tracks on it are in Belarusian.

"Here you will find a variety of things: from dark trap to IDM with recitative; from verses of Belarusian classics to the Heart Sutra of Mahayana Buddhism; from despair to the return of hope. The only thing (or person) you definitely won't find is the familiar sound of Lightowy from all previous works. But 'lightowy' doesn't mean easy, and being 'lightowy' means being diverse," the musician warns.

The alternative title of the fresh artistic work is "The Sunless City," which, on the one hand, refers to Minsk, and on the other hand, to an inner city created from language and memories, where one can wander.

The day before, the rapper successfully presented the new album on the stage of the capital's art venue "Rekha," whose dance floor accommodates up to 1400 people. The event was called one of the most important phenomena in the history of Belarusian rap in recent times.
