In Gomel, a man got hungry and stole food

In May, a woman contacted the police, reporting that an unknown person had broken into her house and stolen food.

At the scene, an expert from the State Forensic Examination Committee established who the discovered footprints belonged to. They were left by a local resident.

The suspect was apprehended. The man explained that he got hungry after consuming alcohol. He ate part of what he stole and managed to sell the rest.

A criminal case has been initiated.
