More semi-finished products will be used in school meals. This decision was made during a working meeting on the organization of school meals, which was held by Prime Minister Alyaksandr Turczyn, according to the government's press service.

During the meeting, approaches were developed that will allow improving the organization of school meals in the future. In particular, now single snacks will be the same for schoolchildren studying in both the first and second shifts.
Also, more semi-finished products will be used in canteens. In addition, it was decided to define nutrition standards for three age groups: 1-4 grades, 5-7, and 8-11 grades. Currently, they apply to two categories: 6-10 and 11-18 years old.
The government is confident that this will make school meals more diverse, tasty, and healthy, as well as accessible to every student.
