The district authorities have instructed to define the boundaries of this territory, its area, and also the list of land users whose plots will be part of the protected zone. A special regime of protection and use will apply to the natural monument according to Belarusian legislation.
The new natural object is located approximately 12 kilometers east of the urban settlement of Bogushevsk and about 3 kilometers southeast of the village of Shchitovka.
These are four oaks growing next to each other. They are approximately 210-220 years old. The height of the trees ranges from 31 to 38 meters. According to experts, all oaks are in satisfactory condition.
It is noted that these trees are a rarity for the Vitebsk region due to their size, age, and beauty.
The decision will come into force after official publication.
