The spring inspection of the housing stock has started. Utility services are checking the condition of homes and engineering systems to assess them after winter, reported the housing and communal services Telegram channel of Minsk.

During the rounds, specialists will check the operation of smoke and ventilation ducts. Attention will also be paid to the general technical condition of the buildings: facades, roofs, balconies, entrance groups, and stairwells.
In addition, technical floors and attics, as well as the operation of common house electricity meters and lighting systems, will be checked.
In parallel, utility workers will assess the condition of adjacent territories — road surfaces, children's, and sports grounds.
All identified defects that could affect safety are promised to be eliminated promptly. If it is impossible to do this immediately, dangerous areas will be fenced off or dismantled.
The inspections are planned and conducted annually.
