When the daughters approached their father's grave and began mourning, they heard sounds from underground, similar to knocks and a human voice. According to witnesses, the noises were repeated several times.

The women were frightened and called the police. Reportedly, the patrol arrived within several tens of minutes. Initially, the officers were skeptical about the noise report, but then they themselves heard sounds from the burial site. One of the police officers even recorded it.

The opening of the grave did not begin immediately. It was necessary to obtain legal permission for this, call a funeral service, and organize the work. Until then, the police restricted people's access to the scene.

Approximately after 6 PM, firefighters and other services providing technical assistance arrived at the cemetery. After this, the grave was opened.

Inside the burial, a man's body was found. According to descriptions, it showed signs of bruising. Medics and investigators began procedural actions on site.

The body was sent for forensic examination. It should determine the exact time and cause of death, as well as clarify whether the sounds could be related to the body or had another origin.

According to preliminary information, the man was declared deceased after severe health complications. He underwent a leg amputation, after which sepsis developed. According to medical documents, his death was confirmed earlier, and the burial took place a few days before the incident.

The Prešov Region Police reported that they have accepted the case materials and are investigating all circumstances. After the investigation concludes, the family will be able to organize a reburial.
