The attack was carried out by pilots of combined crews from the 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade "Achilles" and the 43rd Separate Artillery Brigade, together with the SBU Special Operations Center "Alpha".
It is claimed that two helicopters — Mi-28 and Mi-17 — were damaged as a result of the attack. At that moment, several machines were being refueled and maintained there. The site is located 150 kilometers from the front line.
It is also reported that at least one Russian serviceman, who was servicing the equipment, died as a result of the strike.
"Madyar" stated that the strikes were aimed at the rear part of the helicopters' engine compartments while they were on the site.
