The meeting took place in Croatia on the sidelines of the Three Seas Initiative summit. According to Tikhanovskaya's press service, during the meeting, she
"underlined the importance of clearly distinguishing Belarusians from Russians in legislative initiatives — including on property restrictions — and ensuring that measures do not affect Belarusians who do not support the regime, while maintaining and increasing pressure against the regime."
Sviatlana Tikhanovskaya also invited the Estonian speaker to visit the Mission of Democratic Forces of Belarus in Tallinn.
Previously, in Estonia, discussions intensified about possible amendments to legislation that could introduce restrictions on real estate acquisition for citizens of Belarus and Russia without a permanent residence permit, as well as for companies and individuals associated with these countries.
