Scammers send phishing links on behalf of the traffic police (GAI) about unpaid fines
Payment of fines is also accepted exclusively through the ERIP system and official banking applications, the police remind.

Recently, cases have been recorded where citizens receive messages in messengers about allegedly unpaid traffic police fines with a demand to urgently follow a link. Attackers are massively sending such messages in Viber, Telegram, and WhatsApp, according to the Hrodna police.
"All official internet resources of the bodies and institutions of the Republic of Belarus are located exclusively in the national segment of the Internet — in the .by or .бел domain zone," emphasized Dzianis Zheshka, Deputy Head of the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Hrodna Regional Executive Committee.
Citizens can independently check for real debts or fines from the traffic police only in three secure ways: through a personal account on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the ERIP system, or by personally contacting any traffic police unit.
Payment of fines is also accepted exclusively through the ERIP system and official banking applications.
