Head of the BPC Veniamin Met with Preacher Graham; a Cult Expert Was Present at the Meeting
Franklin Graham, President of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, was invited to the Minsk Diocesan Administration. Viktor Ham, Vice-President of the association, also arrived with him.
The BPC website emphasizes that the meeting participants condemned proselytism — attempts to convert people to one's faith, discussed strengthening interfaith harmony in Belarus, and also expressed hope for the cessation of military conflicts, the establishment of peace, and the restoration of good-neighborly relations between countries and peoples.
The BPC website notes that since the early 1990s, the Graham family has maintained good relations with the Belarusian Orthodox Church, represented by Metropolitan Filaret.
