Belstat calculated the purchasing power of Belarusians in popular products
According to the results of 2025, our incomes decreased in apples and potatoes, but increased in meat and milk. Such conclusions follow from the analysis of the purchasing power of per capita disposable monetary incomes of the population, which was presented by Belstat.

Office Life looked at how many products could be purchased with the average per capita disposable monetary income of the population per month, and also compared how this indicator changed over the year.
For example, in 2024, the average Belarusian could buy 117.5 kilograms of pork or 130.1 kilograms of poultry meat per month. Last year, 125.5 and 155.5 kg of these products, respectively, could already be afforded per month. Incomes also increased in terms of eggs (3.8 thousand versus 3.3 thousand pieces per month).
Most of all, last year incomes of Belarusians grew in pasta (438.8 kg per month, which is 68.1 kg more than a year earlier), sugar (almost 539 kg per month could be afforded, which is 77.3 kg more than in 2024) and carrots (944.8 kg per month and plus 152.2 kg compared to 2024).
However, incomes in fish, on the contrary, slightly decreased: 125.4 kg per month in 2024 versus 123.1 kg in 2025. It should be noted that incomes in this case were converted into frozen fish.
Incomes also fell in apples: in 2025, the average Belarusian could afford 323.6 kg of apples per month; a year earlier, this indicator was 342.3 kg.
Finally, incomes also decreased in the main national product — potatoes: we can buy 864.1 kg per month, whereas in 2024 incomes were sufficient for 905.9 kg. A few years ago, the affordability of potatoes was even lower — for example, in 2022, incomes would have been enough for 633.2 kg per month.
In 2025, per capita monetary incomes amounted to 1.6 thousand rubles per month; in 2024, this indicator was at the level of 1.4 thousand rubles.
