Forest visiting restrictions introduced in more than 50 districts of Belarus
Forest visiting restrictions are in effect in more than 50 districts of Belarus as of May 22. Most restrictions have been imposed in the Brest, Gomel, and Mogilev regions. The situation can change even during the day.

The Ministry of Forestry's website features an interactive map of forest visiting prohibitions and restrictions. With its help, one can quickly track which regions temporarily prohibit or restrict forest visits. Information can also be obtained by calling local authorities.
Decisions on imposing and lifting bans and restrictions on forest visits are made by local authorities at the request of forestry institutions or district emergency departments. They are usually introduced in cases of high fire danger class and lifted when the situation stabilizes.
