In Grodno, a duck hatched ducklings on the fourth floor of a house. The height turned out to be excessive
On the fourth floor of a multi-story building in Grodno, a wild duck hatched ducklings. After this, she flew down and started calling the little ones after her. Several chicks tried to follow, but the height was excessive — they died, reports the press service of the Grodno Zoo.

Eventually, residents of the house intervened. They prevented the remaining ducklings from jumping from the height and saved them. After this, specialists from the inspection of natural resources and environmental protection took the birds and transferred them to the zoo.
Now the duck with the rescued chicks is in the zoo for treatment and rehabilitation and, as reported, is feeling well.
When the little ones grow up and gain strength, they, along with their mother, are planned to be released back into nature.
