As reported by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee, after checking the situation, witnesses were interviewed who confirmed that during the conflict, an unknown man indeed "pushed" the woman.

The man was detained. According to him, the reason for the conflict was that the pensioner was loudly singing in the metro car.

Earlier, Olga Mamantova spoke about what happened on Instagram. She met Valentina at the "Kastrychnitskaya" metro station. As always, she was singing about Jesus – but the woman's face was covered in blood.

Olga approached the singer to help her clean herself up. Valentina recounted that she was riding in a car and singing when, at "Ploshcha Lienina" (Lenin Square), one of the young men stood up and hit her in the face with his fist – hitting her nose. Then he calmly sat back down in his seat.

The video about the incident gained 200 thousand views and hundreds of comments in less than a day. Many are outraged by the indifference of Belarusians, who not only did not react to the moment of the beating itself but also ignored the blood-soaked woman singing in the middle of the platform of one of the busiest stations of the Minsk metro.

Valentina is probably known by everyone who has lived in the Belarusian capital for at least a month. The woman sings about Jesus near the metro – and never asks for money, unlike ordinary street performers. She is always positive. The singer is called a legend of the capital.
