In the Asipovichy district, on the Ptich River, a woman born in 1990, who was participating in a kayaking trip, was rescued, writes BelTA.

The incident occurred on the evening of June 26 in the agro-town of Kaŭhary. A report about a person in the water was received by rescuers from eyewitnesses.
According to preliminary information, the woman was kayaking with friends. While moving, she dropped her paddle and, trying to retrieve it, leaned over too far. As a result, the kayak capsized, and the woman ended up in the water approximately five meters from the shore.
Her companions managed to quickly get to shore and report the incident. The Water Rescue Society noted that the woman was wearing a life vest.
Medics examined the victim, after which she was hospitalized for further observation.
