Also, 37 degrees were exceeded in:
- Drohiczyn — 37.3 °C
- Pinsk — 37.6 °C
- Brest — 37.0 °C
- Kobryn — 37.3 °C
And there's no hiding even in Vitebsk and Yeziaryšča anymore.
Yesterday at the same time, it was 2-3 degrees colder in most of the territory.
The "coolest" place on the country's map now is Kastsyukovichy, where it's 25.1 °C.
The absolute heat record in Belarus during the period of recorded observations (that is, for 145 years) was 38.9°C, recorded on August 8, 2010, in Homel. But that was in August, and now it's only June.
