Young teacher resigned from school and moved to Batumi. But the head of studies still filed a complaint against her with the police for her TikTok livestreams

Margarita previously worked as an English teacher in a capital city school. However, the young specialist did not last long — she resigned and moved to Georgia.

Now she works as a tutor, teaching English and German, and tries to record rap music. She also occasionally hosts livestreams on TikTok. It was because of these that a problem arose.

Margarita shared on Threads that she recently received an unexpected call from one of the Minsk District Departments of Internal Affairs. It turned out that the head of studies of the school where the Belarusian woman worked as a teacher (as far as is known, it concerns capital city school No. 26) had filed a complaint with the police against her former subordinate.

According to the tutor, the essence of the claims is that Margarita's TikTok livestreams are watched by her former students: "They had a conversation with me, saying that these are indecent behaviors for a teacher."

The conversation with the police officer himself went approximately like this:

— Do you understand what your mistake is and that you shouldn't host livestreams?

— No, there are no problems or mistakes.

— I hope you understood and won't do that again.

— I will.

And so on, in a loop.

The girl says she shared the story so that she wouldn't be asked anymore why she resigned from school, despite the fact that she enjoyed teaching children.

In the comments, Margarita explained what was in those TikTok livestreams: "Life in Georgia, why I moved, what I do for work, and so on. I said I missed the children. We also analyzed my track, then I cooked syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes)."

The post went viral and gathered about 300 thousand views in less than a day. Someone expressed indignation: "What surprises me is something else: a teacher's private life and photos in swimsuits are condemned and punished, even leading to dismissal. Meanwhile, male teachers exploit female students and corrupt children, and it's not even possible to cancel them, let alone bring them to justice," "I don't understand the demands for female teachers to lead some 'regulated' life. Not to go to restaurants, wear specific clothes, not make certain statements," "My mother is a teacher. She recently won a competition, and they asked for her photo. She sent it. They returned it, noting that her photo had 'too open a décolleté.' Just for a moment, my mother is 50 years old, and 'too open a décolleté' was an office top under a blazer."

Many reacted to the story with humor and offered playful advice: "Assume that scammers called you and react accordingly to any similar calls," "File a complaint against the head of studies. How does she allow children to watch livestreams?" "Send the head of studies a postcard and suggest she observe her own life."

Margarita, in response, shared that during a livestream, she once saw the head of studies among the viewers and asked her to send a rose (a paid gift on TikTok), but she simply left.
