"Kommunarka" Added a Few Squirrels to Its Products

Threads users noticed an error in the Belarusian-language version of the "Kommunarka" factory's website. In the product composition, next to fats and carbohydrates, the quantity of squirrels in grams was also indicated.

The absurd error was noticed by user _fudo_trueno_, who urged the factory on social media "to stop adding squirrels to chocolate!". The Gomel Telegram channel "Silnye Novosti" drew attention to this post.

Belarusians reacted to the error with humor. In the comments under the post, people are writing:

"But this is cruel treatment of squirrels!"

"First they took the nuts from the squirrels, and then added them together to the chocolate."

"This is extra protein, you don't understand anything!"

"But they have squirrels everywhere, in every product) Where is the Ministry of Nature looking?"

"Maybe there's no mistake? Squirrels are disappearing from parks at night."

"They could have put more 'squirrels', really."

Representatives of the "Kommunarka" factory explained that the error is purely technical, and on the candy sets themselves, the translation is correct:

"The typo that was noticed is displayed on the website (and only on the website) — this is a technical error that occurred as a result of an automatic translation service. On all packages of the "Zhadayu Vam" (Wishing You) candy set, the translation is completely correct. Corrections to the website for this product will be made by the end of the day."

And indeed, the errors on the website were soon corrected.
