12 hotels located in ten districts have been put up for sale in the Vitebsk region. Nine of the properties are directly in district centers. Most of the buildings were constructed during Soviet times and now require renovation, writes the "Vitebsk News" (Vitbichi) publication.
The area of the properties ranges from 220 to 2700 square meters. Among them are both small buildings and quite large hotel complexes.
The most unusual offer is an operational hotel in Miory. Its starting price is only 43 rubles. The two-story building is located near the lake, next to the embankment, city park, and local attractions.
The newest property is a two-story motel in Byahoml, Dokshytsy district, located near the M3 highway and built in 2016. Its area is over 173 sq. m, and the initial price exceeds 109 thousand rubles.
A more expensive lot is a hotel in Pastavy with an area of almost 1700 sq. m. The building, constructed in 1933, was renovated in 2006. Its 41 rooms can accommodate up to 88 guests. The starting price is over 1 million rubles. This is also the only one of the listed hotels that already has a certificate of compliance for the "unrated" (no stars) category.
Hotels are being sold in Dubrovna, Beshankovichy, Hlybokaye, Braslau, Dokshytsy, Pastavy, Miory, Ushachy, Talachyn, and Chashniki districts. In Talachyn and Chashniki districts, two properties each were put up for auction.
The auctions will start in September and will be held on the electronic platforms of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange and RUP "Institute of Real Estate and Valuation".
Potential buyers should, however, consider the terms of sale. For example, the hotel in Pastavy cannot be independently re-profiled: its intended purpose can only be changed with written permission from the district executive committee.
