In the Globi dating app, the "Mediazona" publication found a profile that clearly used a photo of Belarusian political prisoner Yana Pinchuk without permission.
The profile with Pinchuk's photo states a different name — Nastassia. It claims the girl is 23 years old, lives in Warsaw, and works as a doctor.
The real Yana Pinchuk is 29 years old. She is in a penal colony and has the status of a political prisoner.
On June 6, 2023, she was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony. Yana Pinchuk was accused, in particular, of participating in an "extremist formation," actions against national security, inciting hostility, participating in mass riots, and also creating or participating in a "terrorist organization."
According to the investigation, she managed three Telegram channels that the Belarusian authorities recognized as "extremist": "Vitebsk 97%", "Orsha 97%", and "Novopolotsk and Polotsk 97%".
The Belarusian woman was detained in Russia in 2021 and subsequently extradited to Belarus.
