Objects of missile strikes in Donetsk yesterday became known: the main and reserve command posts of the "Center" group of Russian troops
On August 26 and the night of August 27, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important Russian targets. In the Donetsk region, the main and reserve command posts of the Russians were attacked with missiles, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
The results of the strikes in Donetsk are being clarified, but, judging by photos and videos taken by residents of the occupied city, the objects were completely destroyed. It is not yet known who was inside them at the time of the strikes.
Informed Ukrainian channels write that the objects might have housed the main and reserve command posts of the "Center" group of Russian troops.
Also, according to the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a Russian repair and recovery unit in the Chonhar district of Kherson region and a drone control point in Olenivka in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea were hit.
In addition, the General Staff reported that areas with Russian military personnel near Novopetrivka, Zaporizhzhia region, and Vostok in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea were hit.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reports that, based on analysis, it was established that as a result of the strike on the Afipsky oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, on August 25, 2026, damage to the ELOU-AT technological unit, the gas fractionation unit, and a pipeline section was confirmed.
