Ministry of Justice suspended licenses of two real estate agencies

From September 1, the Ministry of Justice suspended the licenses of Minsk real estate agency "Expert" and Brest-based "Tvoy dom".

The reason for the suspension was that instead of certified realtors, deals in the agencies were handled by employees who did not have the appropriate authority. Among them were specialists in client relations, technical documentation, and advertising, including people who were not even on the agencies' staff.

The Ministry of Justice recommends that Belarusians who have already concluded agreements with these companies terminate them.

The department also reminded that from May 2026, only certified realtors who are members of the Chamber of Realtors will be able to provide real estate services for the sale and purchase of apartments, houses, dachas, and land plots in Belarus.
