In Gomel, an old motor ship floated on the Sozh without a crew on board
In Gomel, an old decommissioned tugboat, which has not been used for several years, unexpectedly embarked on an independent voyage along the Sozh river near the city embankment. At the same time, there was no one on board, writes the publication "Strong News".
As it turned out, there was no mystery, let alone mysticism, in this. A strong wind simply broke the mooring rope, after which the vessel began to drift down the river. It was noticed in time, stopped, and tugged back into the bay.
After the incident, the Gomel Transport Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation. It was revealed that the service responsible for the vessels performed its duties poorly. It did not properly control moored vessels, and the duty vessel did not monitor the bay.
As a result, three employees were brought to disciplinary responsibility. An administrative protocol was also issued to the vessel owner. Order was restored at the enterprise after the inspection.
