Head of "Volny Chor" Halina Kazimiroŭskaja announced she beat cancer
This spring, Halina Kazimiroŭskaja, head of "Volny Chor" (Free Choir), shared the sad news that she had an oncological disease. Belarusians responded and instantly raised the necessary sum of money to support her during treatment. Today, the woman announced on social media that it was all for a reason — doctors no longer find cancer cells in her body.

"The last 9 months, it seems, have been the hardest in my life. No, I hope they were the hardest and it won't get any worse than this…"
"But at the same time, I feel like Belarusians have taken me in their arms and carried me through this storm — and continue to carry me… I've received so much warmth, kindness, and love, that it feels like there's enough taste for a lifetime! And it continues! And it's pouring down on me from all over the world, sometimes the geography is simply amazing," writes Halina Kazimiroŭskaja.
"And that's why I want to sing, to shout, to bring good news to the whole world!!! Two weeks ago, I had an operation and, among other things, tissues were taken from different parts of my body for analysis. And just today the results came in, and I heard what I had been waiting for so long — this cholera is gone! No cancer! I won!!!" she rejoices.
True, there are still two more operations ahead to prevent the cancer from returning, various examinations, immunotherapy, rehabilitation, but the light at the end of the tunnel is already visible.
"It seems to me that I am more alive now than a year ago, despite the consequences of chemotherapy, the main one of which is weakness and powerlessness, which still prevent me from living normally. During this time, someone has become very close, someone has moved aside, something has become very important that I didn't even pay attention to before, and something I just let go of…" shares the woman.
In conclusion, she writes:
"I am endlessly grateful to all the good people who help me with words, deeds, prayers, smiles, shoulders, thoughts, money! I would never have managed it alone.
I have learned a little to be weak and not be ashamed of it, to receive help, to give away my problems, it's so strange when someone solves your problems, shares your responsibility. It's so pleasant and simple to accept love… [...]
I cannot list everyone I want to hug and to whom I am so grateful, and I don't know how to thank for all this kindness… I will live."
